TMTFactory was founded by Xavier Verdaguer in 1997, with the collaboration of Barcelona Activa. It came into being as a multimedia production company, and with the birth of Digital Signage the company fine-tuned its business model, which turned TMTFactory into a software engineering company and developer of tailor-made technological products.

Always based in the trend of Content is King, TMTFactory has become a pioneer in the creation of Digital Signage content, bringing blank screens to life with information, entertainment, services, advertising, art and technology. This focus has placed TMTFactory in a perfect position for the production and management of content for all kinds of digital projects, and to provide consulting services for all those companies who wish to surf the digital wave.

Present-day, Daniel Urruchua leads TMTFactory with a multidisciplinary team of 30 people in the centre of Barcelona. The company maintains intense R+D activity through technology transfer agreements with Catalan, Spanish and European universities.
